Welcome to 388 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company
The construction project of urban railway line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) in Ho Chi Minh City was launched in 2017, with the main contract won by the SMJO consortium. 388 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (388IC) was one of the contractors involved in this project. The project has a total length of 19.7 km, including 2.6 km underground and 17.1 km elevated with 14 stations, consisting of 3 underground stations and 11 elevated stations.
According to the latest information from the Management Authority for Urban Railways of Ho Chi Minh City (MAUR) in April 2023, the underground station at Ho Chi Minh City Theater on metro line No. 1 has completed nearly 82% on many items. MAUR has returned the entire space and area in front of the City Theater station and handed over the Railway Infrastructure Center for the temporary setup of greenery, creating a landscape for the vacant land in front of the City Theater. This shows that the project's progress is being implemented according to plan.
388IC has participated in the basic construction items such as the fire-fighting system (FF), the cooling water system (chiller), HVAC, drainage system, and the compressed air control cabinet system for the Opera and Ba Son stations. The company has made every effort to ensure the project's progress, especially during the period affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with the close coordination between 388IC, the Main Contractor, and the Owner, the project's progress is still being accelerated to complete the B1 basement before April 30, 2020. This demonstrates that 388IC has affirmed its reputation and capacity, proud to participate in the implementation of Ho Chi Minh City's major project, a long-awaited project.
After completing the project, 388IC has affirmed its reputation and capacity in the field of basic infrastructure construction, especially in the fields of air conditioning and water systems. The company has made an important contribution to the construction of Ho Chi Minh City, becoming increasingly modern and developing further.
